Power engineers of Rosseti Centre promptly eliminate consequences of bad weather in the Tver region

In connection with the bad weather, power engineers of the Tver branch of Rosseti Centre were transferred to a special operating mode in advance and provided with all necessary forces and means to eliminate technological violations.

The cyclone, which was accompanied by heavy snowfall and temperature drops, led to power supply disruptions in the Zapadnodvinsky, Penovsky, Rameshkovsky, Torzhoksky, Udomelsky, Vesyegonsky, Vyshnevolotsky, Ostashkovsky and Toropetsky districts of the Tver region.

Currently, 65 crews of the power engineers are working to eliminate technological violations, consisting of 269 personnel with involvement of 82 specialized vehicles.

“By decision of the company’s management, the redeployment of the forces and means was carried out to strengthen problem areas and speed up the course of emergency recovery measures. In addition, 56 crews, 321 people and 63 vehicles were mobilized from other regions. Immediate interaction has been organized with forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Tver region, the leadership of municipalities,” commented Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre.

At the moment, power supply has been restored to 15% of consumers affected by the bad weather. It is planned to power the main lines by 3 p.m.
