Hotline of power engineering specialists:
General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy, during a working visit to the Kostroma region, met with participants in the volunteer organization “League of Good” of the Kostroma branch of the company. Its main topic was the discussion of participation of power engineers-volunteers in the All-Russian movement #WeTogether, aimed at helping older and less mobile citizens in the situation of the spread of the novel coronavirus.
As Igor Makovskiy noted, opening the meeting, in the conditions imposed due to unfavourable epidemiological conditions, the power engineers of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region remain in the combat post. The companies have strengthened the social component of the work. From the very beginning of the restrictive regime, they have provided comprehensive assistance to employees of 65 and older. A maximum self-isolation regime is ensured for them: daily monitoring of the state of health is organized, support is provided in terms of delivery of medicines and food.
Volunteer organizations of branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region actively participate in this work, the backbone of which is made up of representatives of the Youth Councils. Their attention is also given to veterans of the company, participants in the Great Patriotic War, rear workers, prisoners of concentration camps and residents of besieged Leningrad living in the regions of its operational responsibility.
Moreover, given the complexity of the current situation, Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region do not limit their social responsibility to corporate boundaries. It was decided to support the All-Russian action #WeTogether. For this, Volunteer Headquarters have been created in all branches of the companies. Their main task is to help older people in the conditions of the spread of coronavirus infection.
Igor Makovskiy called on active members of volunteer power engineers to join the number of participants in the action.
“#WeTogether is a volunteer movement that already unites thousands of young people who provide assistance to doctors, social workers, and elderly people. We urge our young professionals to join its ranks and get involved in solving the most pressing problems for today. To help those who need support today,” said the head of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.
The meeting participants supported the call of the company’s management and proposed a number of initiatives for implementation within the framework of the action #WeTogether. Concluding the event, Igor Makovskiy noted that the experience of the “League of Good” and volunteer organizations of other branches of the company will be in demand and useful.
“Power engineers are a strong and united team of professionals. They are responsible and disciplined. They are able to work in the most difficult conditions and at the same time maintain endurance and composure. These qualities allow us to solve any problems, always at the forefront,” stressed the head of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.
