Power supply to more than 40 logistics centres of large retail chains is under special control of specialists of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region

Specialists of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region during non-working days continue to monitor in an intensive mode the power supply of more than 40 logistics centres of large retail chains that provide food and essentials to residents of 20 regions of Central Russia and the Volga Region.

International and Russian distribution networks (Metro, Auchan, Carousel, Lenta, Magnit, Perekrestok, Pyaterochka, Verny, Dixy) and regional level networks operate in the territories of the service area of the energy companies. They play an important role in ensuring accessibility to food and other goods for the population in the conditions of a complicated epidemiological situation - such a task was set by the country’s leadership. Director General of Rosseti Centre, Pavel Livinskiy, instructed the power engineers to pay special attention to large transport and logistics centres through which food and goods are delivered to the regions.

“Ensuring food security is a top priority in the current situation. The functioning of enterprises that are responsible for the vital activity of the regions largely depends on the professionalism and quality of our work. We fully understand all the responsibility assigned to us, we are mobilized and provide high-quality uninterrupted power supply to these facilities,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.

Please, be reminded that by the order of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, to prevent the spread of viral infection, non-working days in Russia are extended until the end of April. In all the branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, 1,388 crews consisting of 4,325 people and 1,648 vehicles are on duty.
