7 April 2020

Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region have started implementing the 2020 repair program, one of the key components of the preparation for the autumn-winter season. The bulk of the repair work starts at the end of the next autumn-winter season, when it becomes possible to disconnect equipment for repair, and is completed by early October. Their main volume falls on the summer.

Please, be reminded that on Friday at a meeting of the Operational Headquarters, Director General of Rosseti, Pavel Livinskiy, pointed out to all subsidiaries the need to strictly comply with the preparation dates for the autumn-winter period 2020-2021 and to ensure that all points of the approved repair and critical part of investment programs are implemented regardless of the current conditions.

According to the plan, over the course of the year, power engineers of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region will carry out major repairs of 12.2 thousand transformer substations and 47 thousand kilometres of overhead power lines (Conductors) of 0.4-110 kV, within which more than 55 thousand poles will be replaced. Equipment repair is also planned at power centres of 35-110 kV. 31.2 thousand hectares of routes of overhead power lines will be cleared of wood and shrubby vegetation. 6.1 billion rubles will be allocated for these purposes.

“The industry leadership has set the task, regardless of the circumstances, to fully implement the repair program and strictly observe the preparation schedule for the autumn-winter period 2020–2021. In this situation, we have built a clear algorithm for interaction with partners - manufacturers and suppliers of the main products that support the activities of the companies, and are ready to implement the whole range of measures that will ensure uninterrupted and stable operation of the electric grid complex in 20 regions of the country, the quality and reliability of power supply to consumers,” emphasized General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy.

The largest scope of overhaul of 0.4-110 kV overhead lines are planned in the branches of Nizhnovenergo (9.5 thousand km), Kirovenergo (5.4 thousand km), Tulenergo (4.5 thousand km), Vladimirenergo (4.1 thousand km), Voronezhenergo - (2 thousand km), Smolenskenergo (1.5 thousand km), Tverenergo ”(1.1 thousand km).

The work will cover a number of power centres of 110 kV, which play an important role in ensuring reliable power supply to their regions. Among them, the substation “GPP-2” in the Lipetsk region, supplying electricity to about 22 thousand residents, a number of social facilities and large industrial enterprises. And also the substation “Rovenki” in the Belgorod region, which feeds 10 thousand inhabitants of the administrative centre and surrounding settlements. In the Republic of Mari El, the substations “Sernur” and “Sovetsk” will be repaired, providing electricity to a total of 106 settlements and more than 12 thousand consumers of the Sernursky and Sovetsky districts. Overhaul of the 110 kV “Likhoslavl-Levoshinka” and “Baranovka-Levoshinka” overhead lines with tap connections to the “Kalashnikovo” substation, which are transit lines of systemic importance and providing power to the Likhoslavlsky section of the Oktyabrskaya Railway, is planned in the Tver region. In the Kirov region, repairs will be performed at the 110 kV overhead line “Vyatskiye Polyany-Sosnovka-1”. The power supply of several large 35-110 kV substations at once, supplying 30 settlements with a population of more than 32 thousand people and a number of large facilities and institutions, depends on it.
