Specialists of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region took under strengthened control the power supply of more than a thousand food industry enterprises

Power engineers of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region during the non-working week online monitor the power supply of more than 1,100 food factories, plants and food production enterprises in the regions of their operational responsibility (20 constituent entities of the Russian Federation).

The power engineers pay special attention to more than 340 producers of bread products, more than 320 dairy and 285 meat producers. The companies provide reliable and high-quality power supply to enterprises of the agro-industrial holding Miratorg and Cherkizovo Group of Companies, the milk holding Danone-Unimilk and Nestle Rossiya LLC, Progress JSC - the leader in the domestic market of baby food, Slavyanka Group of Companies in the Top 50 of the world ranking of confectionery companies, as well as a number of other large and significant producers of food products.

All structural subdivisions of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region strictly comply with the instructions of the Head of Rosseti’s Group of Companies, Pavel Livinskiy, to ensure reliable energy supply to key infrastructure facilities in the regions of presence.

Please, be reminded that by the Order of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin from 30 March to 5 April, a non-working week was announced to prevent the spread of viral infection in the country. According to the unified requirements of PJSC Rosseti, in all branches of the electric grid companies “Rosseti Centre” and “Rosseti Centre and Volga Region”, from 12:00 pm on 28 March 2020 to 06:00 am on 6 April 2020, the mode of technological “silence” was introduced. Control over the functioning of facilities of the electric grid complex was strengthened. The duty of dispatch and technical services, employees of operating and repair crews, duty workers at substations of branches and managers was organized.

For the prompt elimination of technological violations in the regions of their service area, Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region developed a communication scheme and a procedure for interaction with services of the Ministry of Emergencies, territorial divisions of Rostekhnadzor, executive authorities and local self-government, operating companies of Rosseti’s Group of Companies, and other territorial power grid organizations.

During the days off, on duty in order to ensure reliable operation of the energy system of 20 regions of the country, there are 1,388 crews of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region consisting of 4,325 people and 1,648 vehicles. They have at their disposal standby power supply sources, which can be used to temporarily supply power, primarily to socially significant facilities in the regions.
