Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre - Kurskenergo” carried out the grid connection of the construction site of the oil extraction plant of Kurskagroterminal LLC in the Kastorensky district of the Kursk region.
For this, the power engineers constructed a 10 kV power line and installed a new transformer substation of 10/0.4 kV with a capacity of 630 kVA. The applicant was provided with 500 kilowatts of power as part of an additional package service for grid connection, which implies a full range of services - from accepting the application online, to fulfilling obligations to fully connect the facility or premises to electric grids by Rosseti Centre’s employees.
The new plant will produce 1 million tons of soybean and sunflower oil, soybean meal and cake annually. This is one of the largest investment projects that will be implemented in the region until 2021. Putting the agricultural enterprise into operation will create more than 400 additional jobs in the region.
Fulfilling the obligations of grid connection of agricultural facilities, the Rosseti Centre company makes a significant contribution to ensuring the socio-economic development of 11 regions of the Central Federal District.
