27 March 2020

During the trip, Igor Makovskiy inspected the activities of the Kaluga branch of the company, the implementation of digital projects and visited the digital Kondrovsky Distribution Zone.

The head of the company held a meeting of the operational headquarters in the video-conference mode, during which he discussed the operation of the electric grid complex under the high-availability mode introduced in all regions of presence.

The day before, Director General of PJSC Rosseti Pavel Livinskiy in his address to the team emphasized that the health of employees, their relatives and friends, was always and remains a priority for Rosseti’s Group.

Currently, in accordance with the unified requirements for the implementation of a number of administrative documents of PJSC Rosseti on measures to ensure the safety of personnel, the health status control of employees has been strengthened, who ensure reliable power supply to the Kaluga energy system.

The Customer Service Centres (CSCs) provide all the necessary safey measures. It should be noted that all issues related to power supply can be resolved in remote access using online services. Power engineers use modern technologies and communication channels to make the process of interacting with customers as convenient and comfortable as possible. Therefore, to address a number of issues, an in-person visit to customer service offices is not required.

During the meeting with the management of the “Kalugaenergo” branch, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region focused on the need to continue systematic work on interaction with the regional headquarters, to respond quickly to the current situation and to strictly implement all decisions of the company regarding providing the necessary facilities for new facilities.

The head of the companies inspected the construction site of the new Grid Control Centre (GCC). The creation of the Grid Control Centre will make it possible to build a modern automated system for the operational-technological and situational management of the regional electric grid facilities. Igor Makovskiy set the task of conducting work at this facility at an accelerated pace.

During the working visit, Igor Makovskiy examined the 110 kV “Kondrovo” substation and one of the digital Distribution Zones of Kalugaenergo - the Kondrovsky Distribution Zone. This is one of the largest subdivisions of the Kaluga branch, in which all activities under the “Digital Distribution Zone” project are successfully implemented and all production programs are effectively realized. In addition, thanks to the initiative and focus of each employee on the overall success, this is the most comfortable unit in Kalugaenergo. Part of the Distribution Zone infrastructure was created by the hands of the employees themselves: a modern training centre, landscape design elements, additional storage space. The head of the company appreciated the Alley of Power Engineers - Veterans, which was laid in the territory of the Distribution Zone in 2012 and is annually replenished with new plants, and also noted the need for its further improvement on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Victory.

Summing up the results of the working visit, Igor Makovskiy emphasized: “Last year, the Kaluga branch of the company implemented a large-scale project as part of the concept of digital transformation, a record number of “smart meters” was installed - about 150,000 pieces. Thanks to this, the branch made significant progress in the fight against electric energy losses and took the 1st place among the 20 branches of the companies. This year requires from Kalugaenergo’s employees the maximum concentration of efforts, everyone’s involvement in the common cause. The branch will continue the implementation of the digital transformation program, within the framework of which it is planned to construct two digital substations to provide power to such important infrastructure facilities in the region as the campus of Bauman Moscow State Technical University and “EcoTechnoPark”.
