Rosseti took special control of the reliability of power supply to key infrastructure and social facilities in Russia

Starting 24 March, Rosseti takes under special control the power supply of key infrastructure and social facilities in the service area of the Group of Companies. The corresponding order was signed by the head of the electric grid holding Pavel Livinskiy.

“Rosseti’s Group is doing everything possible to minimize the risks of the spread of a new coronavirus infection and other respiratory diseases in Russia both among its employees and their families, and among clients. At the same time, our companies create the most comfortable conditions for the life and work of all our consumers in a difficult period,” stressed Pavel Livinskiy.

The supply of electricity to medical institutions, call centres, facilities providing public services, mobile communications and Internet access, as well as computer equipment was taken under special control. Particular attention is paid to organizations providing online services to the population (banking, online stores, online cinemas), as well as large transport and logistics centres and courier services.

Director General of Rosseti Pavel Livinskiy also instructed to conduct an analysis of the reliability of power supply circuits and unscheduled inspections of power grid infrastructure in order to identify and promptly eliminate defects and deficiencies.

Earlier, in Rosseti’s Group, almost 60% of office employees switched to remote work, 738 of 1,017 customer service centres and customer service points were transferred online.
