Igor Makovskiy: Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region ensured their staff safety and operational reliability at the proper level

As part of a working trip to Tula, the head of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy checked the readiness of the Tula branch to work in an unfavourable epidemiological situation.

The head of the company took part in the videoconferencing mode in a meeting of the operational headquarters of Rosseti’s Group of Companies, during which Director General of Rosseti Pavel Livinskiy set up tasks to organize the work of the country’s electric grid complex under the high-availability mode introduced in all areas of presence. 

“In the branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga all the necessary preventive measures have been taken. The energy companies are fully prepared for any changes in the situation. There are forces and means in order to ensure reliable power supply to 20 regions of the country and, if necessary, provide assistance to local authorities,” stressed General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.

In particular, Tulenergo tightened control over the health status of employees. Daily check-ups of personnel are conducted to detect fever. First of all, specialists directly involved in ensuring reliable power supply to consumers and working in contact with them. Disinfection and treatment of premises is carried out.

The Customer Service Centres (CSCs) provide all the required safety measures. The CSCs are fully prepared for remote customer service. All issues related to power supply can be resolved remotely using online services.

The power engineers use modern technologies and communication channels to make the process of interacting with customers as convenient and comfortable as possible. Therefore, to address a number of issues, an in-person visit to customer service offices is not required.

At the end of the meeting, Igor Makovskiy noted that the Tula branch effectively implements measures to counteract the spread of viral infections and ensure the safety of personnel.
