4 March 2020

General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, Igor Makovskiy, on the eve of International Women’s Day on 8 March, decided to increase the amount of one-time financial assistance to the companies’ employees who became parents to 30 thousand rubles.

At the meeting devoted to the payment of lump sum benefits, the most important directions of the social policy of the companies for the coming years were discussed. Igor Makovskiy paid special attention to the issue of supporting employees of the companies that became parents.

“To give birth, raise, upbring a child is happiness and at the same time a huge responsibility. Maternal love is an invaluable gift, and mother’s love for her children is sacrificial and limitless. It is impossible to value the labour and care of mothers with material goods. The decision I made to provide financial assistance at the birth of a child is only a feasible tribute to the Woman, on whose shoulders lies the concern for the future of Russia,” General Director stressed in a welcoming speech.
“Of course, in the activities of the Company it is important to adhere to the vector of social responsibility in all areas, but I would like to focus on women-mothers,” added Igor Makovskiy.

Work in the direction of social loyalty both within the Company’s 20 regions of presence and inside the companies is carried out systematically and sequentially: comfortable and working conditions are provided and constantly improved to employees of the Company, benefits and allowances are paid, and a bonus system is established.

“We care about the health of our employees, their well-being, and the future of their families. The decision to pay cash benefits as an additional measure of support for our employees is the contribution of the power engineers to the implementation of the state demographic policy, the basic principles of which were formulated by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin,” stressed the head of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.

The problem of demography has become the most important topic of the Address of the Head of the State to the Federal Assembly. Noting that the country has entered a difficult demographic period, the President of Russia set the task to ensure the growth of the birth rate by the middle of the decade.
