General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy made a working trip to Kazan. The head of the energy companies visited the central office of OJSC “Grid Company”, which manages the region’s electric grid complex.
At the Grid Control Centre, Igor Makovskiy met with Deputy General Director of Grid Company Vadim Lukin. The parties exchanged experience in implementing digital transformation projects, and discussed the reform of operational-technological management. They touched upon the development of corporate services.
In particular, Vadim Lukin told Igor Makovskiy about the implementation of the transition to a two-level system of operational and technological control of electric grids in the company’s branches and the technologies being implemented for distribution grid automation.
In turn, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region introduced the head of Grid Company with the first effects of the accelerated implementation of the Digital Transformation Concept in the companies he heads.
Igor Makovskiy said that in 2019, Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region completed 30% of activities of the first stage - twice as much as was originally planned. In particular, three digital substations and two digital Contact Centres were commissioned, the development of telemetry technical solutions was completed, the installation of an integrated energy monitoring system and the installation of distributed automation in digital Distribution Zones were begun.
At the end of the meeting, Igor Makovskiy invited Kazan power engineers to visit the Grid Control Centres in the regions of the service area of the companies.
