On 29 January, employees of the economic security and anti-corruption department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Lipetsk region, with the participation of the security unit of Rosseti Centre, detained the chief of a Distribution Zone of the branch “Rosseti Centre Lipetskenergo” while receiving a grand bribe for illegal grid connection of a consumer. The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Lipetsk region instituted criminal proceedings on the grounds of a crime under paragraph 6 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Receiving a bribe”). Currently, investigative measures are being taken on this fact.

The security unit’s subdivisions are doing a great job of identifying, combating and completely eradicating such facts, including through effective cooperation with law enforcement agencies, seeking fair punishment for all those without exception guilty of unlawful actions.
