Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region provide a high level of trouble-free operation in 20 regions of the country

A meeting was held at Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region under the leadership of General Director of the Company Igor Makovskiy, at which the results of the operation of the electric grid complex of the companies on weekends and holidays were summarized and tasks for the near future were outlined.

First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer Alexander Pilyugin made a report on the results of the operation of power grids of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region on the weekends and holidays. During his speech, he noted that the reliability of energy supply to consumers during the holidays in the area of responsibility of the companies (20 constituent entities of the Russian Federation) was provided by almost 13 thousand specialists, as a result of which a high level of trouble-free operation was achieved.

Also, in his speech, Alexander Pilyugin paid special attention to the analysis of failures for 2019. The number of emergency situations for the year as a whole for two companies decreased by 15%. The average frequency of interruptions in the transmission of electric energy to the point of delivery (SAIFI) decreased in Rosseti Centre by 20%, in Rosseti Centre and Volga Region by 11%. The number of technological violations (failures) in the 6 - 220 kV grid decreased by 15% and 3%, respectively.

“The trouble-free work on the New Year’s holidays was greatly facilitated by carefully organized and conducted preparations for the autumn-winter period, during which many factors were carefully taken into account, as well as proven skills of personnel actions in the most difficult and unusual conditions, including through joint efforts of the crews from different branches,” emphasized General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy.  

Considering the tasks facing Rosseti Centre and the Rosseti Centre and Volga Region in 2020, Igor Makovskiy identified the high-quality implementation of activities of the Digital Transformation Program, all production programs, a further reduction in the level of losses, as well as a decrease in the average frequency and duration of grid outages, reduced operating and capital costs. In addition, much attention will be paid to consolidation of electric grid assets on the basis of PJSC Rosseti’s Group of Companies, development of value-added services and infrastructure for interacting with customers.
