On the eve of the National Unity Day, all branches of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region and Rosseti Centre (included in Rosseti’s Group of Companies) have strengthened control over the operation of power equipment.
Specialists of both energy companies checked the technical condition of facilities and emergency control equipment, the presence of an emergency stock of materials, the availability of backup sources of power supply. Additional measures were taken to enhance fire safety, the fire status of industrial and domestic premises, auxiliary and household buildings and structures, mobile repair shops and crew vehicles was checked.
In order to promptly eliminate technological violations, in the event of their occurrence, in the operation of the energy systems of 20 regions of the service area of the energy companies, a communication scheme and a procedure for interaction with services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, territorial divisions of Rostekhnadzor, executive authorities and local self-government, operating companies of Rosseti’s Group, and other territorial power grid companies was developed. The operational readiness of all communications and technological dispatch systems was checked.
Currently, the power engineers are working in the mode of maximum mobilization and are making every effort to ensure the uninterrupted operation of power equipment during the holidays and in case of emergency situations, to mobilize all forces and means in an extremely short period of time to eliminate their consequences. The round-the-clock duty of specialists of dispatching and technical services, first responding and repair crews, duty specialists of substations of branches, the executive office of the companies, their branches and production departments was set up.
If necessary, 2,943 crews consisting of 12,542 people, 4,375 automobile and specialized vehicles, as well as resources of contracting organizations can be involved in eliminating technological violations in all branches of the energy companies. The power engineers have at their disposal 1,974 backup power supply sources with a total installed capacity of 60.5 MW, which can be used for temporary supply of power.
