Specialists of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region to read an information course on digital transformation in the electric grid complex for students simultaneously in 20 regions of the country

Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region has launched a pilot educational project for students of specialized universities, in which an information course on digital transformation of the electric grid complex will be taught. In total, leading experts of the electric grid company will give a course of nine lectures, the first of which will take place simultaneously in 20 higher educational institutions of the country on 29 October this year.

As part of the information course, students will be able to learn first-hand the specifics of functioning of digital technologies in the electric grid complex. They will analyze in detail the main areas of digitalization and applied technologies, and will get an idea of ​​the management of processes and digital data in the electric power industry.

Students of the course will get acquainted with projects of the first stage of digital transformation: a digital substation and Distribution Zone, the Unified Grid Control Centres (UGCC) of the regions, digital radio communications, a digital electrician, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and others. They learn about digital transformation projects planned for implementation in the next two stages.
