In Kaliningrad, the third hockey tournament among subsidiaries of PJSC Rosseti ended today. Over the course of four days, eight teams of power engineers from all over the country fought for the main trophy of competitions: Rosseti Centre, Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, Rosseti Tyumen, Rosseti North-West, Rosseti Moscow Region, Rosseti Ural, Rosseti Sibir and Rosseti Yantar. Matches went round robin. The winner was determined on the last day of the competitions. It was the third time that the Rosseti Centre team became the third, defeating the Rosseti Moscow Region team in a decisive match 2:1.
General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy took part in the final events of the tournament. The Head of the Companies made a symbolic throw-in before the closing game of the Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Moscow Region teams. And then, along with other guests of honour, including representatives of the management of PJSC Rosseti, the Kaliningrad Region, domestic stars of world hockey, took part in the award ceremony.
“These were four extremely spectacular, eventful and emotional days. We have witnessed exciting and hot ice battles. Intrigue persisted until the last games. This is the best evidence of the high level of competition and skill of hockey players. I want to thank the leadership of Rosseti’s Group for a great sporting event that brought together representatives of the electric grid complex from different parts of our big country,” the head of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region emphasized.
