Governor of the Orel region Andrey Klychkov and General Director of Rosseti Centre Igor Makovskiy discussed current issues of the functioning of the region’s electric grid complex

In the Government of the Orel region, a working meeting was held between Governor Andrey Klychkov and General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy. The parties discussed topical issues in the development of the electric grid complex of the region.

At the beginning of the meeting, Andrey Klychkov noted the effective and efficient work of Rosseti Centre in the region and thanked for the implementation of infrastructure projects that contribute to improving the urban environment. “The company “Rosseti Centre” not only systematically improves the quality of power supply to consumers, the availability of services, but also implements projects of public importance. The reconstruction of the entrance group on the border of the regional centre as soon as possible became a great gift for the Orel City Day: today, this vibrant viewpoint has become a new local attraction. And the new customer office of the company that has opened has become an example of a high-tech service centre that is comfortable for citizens, which is a great achievement,” stressed the head of the region.

In turn, Igor Makovskiy congratulated Governor and residents of the region on an important date - the 76th anniversary of the liberation of Orel from the Nazi invaders and thanked for the attention that the region’s leadership pays to the company’s activities. “The Orel region is a special page in the history of the Great Patriotic War. Here the front line passed for almost two years, tank elite troops were born here and the outcome of the battle for Moscow was largely decided. And Orel became the city of the first victorious salute. It is important for us to work responsibly in your region. We are pleased to have the opportunity to contribute to its socio-economic development,” stressed the head of the company.

Also, at the meeting, Andrey Klychkov and Igor Makovskiy discussed the implementation of the regulatory agreement signed between the company and the Orel region in the framework of the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi in February this year. The document provides for the comprehensive modernization of the electric grid complex of the region using digital technologies.

“We will have intense, but at the same time very interesting work. First of all, we are talking about the implementation of the Digital Transformation Concept in the electric grid complex of the Orel region,” stressed General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy. “But the scale effect from the “digits” will be incomplete without the consolidation of grid infrastructure. One of the main tasks today is to improve the standard of work of regional territorial grid companies, which must meet the highest reliability requirements.”
