Today in Lipetsk, Head of the Lipetsk region Igor Artamonov and General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region* Igor Makovskiy held a working meeting. The parties discussed the implementation of the agreement on the cooperation of the region’s leadership and Rosseti Centre in the development of the electric grid complex, which was based on the Digital Transformation Concept.
Igor Artamonov and Igor Makovskiy were introduced to the implementation of pilot digitalization projects in the Grid Control Centre of the branch “Rosseti Centre Lipetskenergo”. They were shown a prototype of an unmanned aerial vehicle and told about the basic principles of its operation. A unique scientific development is capable of not only flying over overhead lines without human intervention, but also analyzing the data obtained using neural networks and elements of artificial intelligence.
They presented to the head of the region and the head of the energy company the projects of the future Unified Grid Control Centre and Digital Distribution Zone. Measures to implement digital transformation projects are being implemented by the power engineers today, and in the future they will increase the level of observability and controllability of electric grid facilities.
Summing up the results of the working meeting, Igor Artamonov and Igor Makovskiy expressed their readiness for long-term cooperation in matters of increasing the reliability of the region’s power supply and providing it with energy resources for further socio-economic development of the region.
“In the person of Rosseti Centre, we are dealing with an exceptionally reliable electricity supplier, providing a high level of innovative development of the electric grid complex. As a result of the today’s meeting many ideas arose, there are a number of related areas in which we can be useful to each other. Rosseti Centre has advanced further than our other resource-supplying organizations. We can use the technology and experience of the company to develop the region,” stressed Igor Artamonov.
“The Lipetsk region is one of the basic regions for the implementation of the roadmap of the Concept of digital transformation. Already at the first stage, it is planned here to put into trial operation the entire package of key pilot projects - the Unified Grid Control Centre, “Digital Distribution Zone”, “Digital Substation”, “Digital Electrician”. We are focused on their accelerated implementation in order to quickly set out the electric grid complex of the region on a modern high-tech path, to ensure a significant increase in the reliability and quality of power supply to customers,” emphasized General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy.
Igor Makovskiy’s visit to the Lipetsk region ended with a meeting with the workforce of “Rosseti Centre Lipetskenergo”. At it, the head of the company summed up the production activities of the branch and outlined the priorities. Among the strategic tasks of the branch, Igor Makovskiy noted a decrease in reliability indicators, an increase in the efficiency of the financial and economic situation, as well as the unconditional implementation of the roadmap for the concept of digital transformation.
