Young specialists of the fuel and energy complex, students and schoolchildren are invited to take part in the #BrighterTogether Youth Day at the REW International Forum

5 October 2019, in the framework of the International Forum “Russian Energy Week” (REW) the Youth Day will be held - the main youth event of the Russian fuel and energy complex.

The organizers of the Youth Day are the Ministry of Energy of Russia, Rosmolodezh, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and the Government of Moscow. For the second year in a row, the event is called #BrighterTogether, thus the organizers underline their support for the All-Russian Energy Conservation Festival #BrighterTogether.

In 2019, the #BrighterTogether Youth Day will bring together more than 3,000 young professionals, students and schoolchildren who will gather in Moscow to exchange experience and ideas, as well as to summarize their project activities in 2019 and to form the youth agenda for the fuel and energy sector for 2020.

An interdepartmental meeting will be held at the Youth Day site on popularization of the fuel and energy complex among the youth, energy saving and engineering education, which will be attended by heads of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the Ministry of Education of Russia, and the Federal Service for Youth Affairs. The meeting will also be attended by Independent Non-Profit Organization “Russia - a country of opportunities”, heads of energy companies, universities and executive authorities of constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Students and young specialists will be able to take part in the #BrighterTogether Youth All-Russian Production Meeting. The participants will meet with representatives of the leadership of the largest energy companies in the country and in an open dialogue they will discuss the prospects for the development of the industry and the actual production tasks of the leading energy companies.

During the day, a meeting will be held to discuss the best practices for holding events of the #BrighterTogether festival, events of the BRICS Youth Energy Agency, the Young Engineers community will be held. Schoolchildren are waiting for vocational guidance routes from energy companies and an exhibition of professions in the fuel and energy complex and engineering specialties of universities.

For the second year in a row, within the framework of the Youth Day, the finals of the All-Russian #BrighterTogether festival competitions will be held: the Flash mob contest and the song contest. The selection of winners will take place in the form of an open public discussion with the participation of the student community, young professionals of industry companies and public associations.

The culmination of the Youth Day will be the traditional shirt-sleeve meeting of participants with the Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak. The Minister will talk about key trends in the development of Russian and world energy and will answer questions from the audience.

The #BrighterTogether REW Youth Day will be completed with the final session “Energy of Youth Initiatives 2020”, where the best projects will be presented and winners and prize winners of youth contests and projects in the field of fuel and energy implemented in 2019 will be awarded.
