Employees of the executive office of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region* became participants in the first stage of the Military-Patriotic Marathon at places of combat glory of the 4th Moscow Rifle Division of the national militia organized by the Federal Treasury on 7 July in Moscow.
The stage consisted of two races that took place on the territory of the Basmanny district of the capital, from where the division’s combat path began, and the Poklonnaya Gora memorial complex. Representatives of the search group “Treasurer” and the regional public organization “Dynamo” No. 33, students of the All-Russian Student Rescue Corps, the Russian State University named after A.N. Kosygin and the Moscow Financial and Law University (MFUA), employees of other enterprises, institutions and organizations took part in the races together with the power engineers. The event ended with a flower-laying ceremony at the Victory Monument.
The military-patriotic marathon at the places of combat glory of the 4th Moscow Rifle Division of the national militia is held in preparation for the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The marathon route consists of nine stages and will pass through the territory of eight regions, connected with the places of combat glory of the division. Five of them - the Smolensk, Tver, Kaluga, Orel and Bryansk regions - are included in the service area of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region. The marathon will end in April 2020 in the Kaliningrad region.
