Igor Makovskiy: Outperformance of the repair program to ensure the high-quality operation of the power grid complex in 20 regions of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region

Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region summed up the implementation of the repair program for five months. The company performs a number of key document activities ahead of schedule.

4,570 transformer substations of 0.4/6-10 kV and more than 15.5 thousand km of 0.4-110 kV overhead and cable power lines were repaired, which amounts to 109% and 108% of the plan year-to-date total, respectively. 18 power transformers at 35-110 kV substations were overhauled. About 10 thousand hectares of routes along overhead line were cleared (137% of the planned figures year-to-date total). 3.017 billion rubles were allocated for the implementation of these measures.

“The repair program in the energy sector is not only competent planning and clear prioritization, but also strict observance of the deadlines. They are set taking into account the possibility to prepare in advance the power grid complex for the period of cold weather. In recent years, the weather has been making a lot of surprises, so the outperformance of these activities allows us to create a powerful foundation for ensuring high-quality and reliable power supply to consumers in 20 regions of the country during the heating season,” stressed General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy.

The main activities of the repair program start at the end of the next autumn-winter period, when it becomes possible to decommission a significant part of the equipment in need of repair, and are completed by the end of September. Their main volume falls in the summer. At a number of large and significant facilities the work has already been completed. Among them are the 110 kV substations “Khvorostyanka” in the Lipetsk region, “Steelwork” in the Bryansk region, and “Undol” and “Murom” in the Vladimir region.

During 2019, Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region will overhaul 12,140 transformer substations, as well as 50,311 kilometres of 0.4-110 kV overhead power lines, within which 40,841 poles will be replaced. 28.4 thousand hectares of routes of 0.4-110 kV overhead power lines will be cleared from tree and bush vegetation. 10.29 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of the repair program.
