The lighting project was implemented at a number of significant city sights, such as Victory Square, the Arsenal building, which houses the National Museum of Udmurtia and the building of the Institute of Oil and Gas named after M.S. Gutseriev of the Udmurt State University.

Yaroslav Semyonov, Chairman of the Udmurt Republic Government, Oleg Bekmemetyev, Head of the Izhevsk City Administration, Alexander Pilyugin, First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of Rosseti Centre, Andrei Malyshev, Director of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region - Udmurtenergo, took part in the solemn presentation of modern lighting of the buildings.

To make a bright, dynamic style to the Institute of Oil and Gas, the power engineers illuminated three facades of the building, and to complete the decorative ensemble, they lighted the columns and the monument to A.S. Pushkin. To illuminate the memorial complex “Eternal Flame”, four light towers were installed with LED lighting fixtures of high-class protection against dust and moisture penetration. Facades of the Arsenal building received additional artistic lighting, built in the first quarter of the 19th century.

Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, stressed: “For the first time, the project on city illumination has been implemented in the service area of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region. We are confident that thanks to the competencies and experience of our company’s employees, such an important component of the urban environment as the lighting of buildings and structures was carried out at the highest level, and residents of the city of Izhevsk will appreciate such changes. It is important to note that we, for our part, are ready to further develop our activities in this direction and expand the project’s borders to other regions of our presence.”

During the implementation of the project, 238 LED lighting fixtures were installed with high-class protection against dust and moisture penetration. Enclosures of the fixtures are made of aluminum anti-corrosion alloy that will allow them to remain airtight for many years. Particular attention is drawn to the high energy efficiency of the architectural and artistic lighting. The total power of the lighting fixtures of three large-scale projects amounted to only 7 kW.
