To ensure uninterrupted power supply to consumers, on 12 June, in all branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region (included in Rosseti’s Group of Companies), control over the operation of power equipment will be strengthened.
Specialists of both power companies checked the technical condition of the equipment and emergency control automation, the presence of an emergency stock of materials, and the availability for operation of backup sources of power supply. Besides, additional measures were taken to enhance fire safety, an inspection of the fire condition of industrial and domestic premises, auxiliary and ancillary buildings and structures, mobile repair shops and crew vehicles was carried out.
For the prompt elimination of technological violations, if they occur, a communication scheme and procedure for interaction with services of the EMERCOM, territorial subdivisions of Rostechnadzor, executive authorities and local governments, operating companies of Rosseti’s Group of Companies and other territorial power grid organizations have been developed. The operational readiness of all communications and dispatching process control systems has been checked. The round-the-clock duty of specialists of dispatching and technical services, operational and maintenance crews, duty substations of the branches, the executive office of the companies, their branches and production departments has been set up.
If necessary, 2,912 crews consisting of 12,829 people, 4,340 automotive and specialized vehicles, as well as resources of contracting organizations may be involved in the elimination of technological violations in all branches of the power companies. The power engineers have at their disposal 1,959 backup power supply sources with a total installed capacity of 60.07 MW, which can be used to temporarily supply power.
The head of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, Igor Makovskiy, stressed:
“The Day of Russia is an important holiday for the whole country. The specialists of 20 branches on this day have a special responsibility - to ensure uninterrupted operation of power equipment in the territory of all regions of the company and to make every effort to prevent failures in the power grid complex, and if they occur - as soon as possible, mobilizing all forces and means, eliminate their consequences.”
