The agreement provides for cooperation between Rosseti Centre and Volga Region (IDGC of Centre and Volga Region) and the Kirov region in the field of technical re-equipment and modernization of the regional electric grid complex using digital technologies. “Today there are a lot of technologies that help save energy, to make the work of the energy complex safer, more transparent. We need to apply these technologies, modernize our substations, equip them with digital devices. All this will minimize losses and save resources. All consumers should understand that such agreements are concluded solely in order to improve the quality of public services. And we will work together on this,” stressed Igor Vasilyev.

“The Kirov region is one of those territories where today the authorities are actively working to increase the investment attractiveness of the region,” commented Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre (IDGC of Centre) - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region. “The task of power engineers to help it in this. Coming to the territory of the region, the business must be sure that it will be provided with necessary capacities and receive uninterrupted power supply of its facilities. The construction of a digital electric grid with qualitatively new characteristics of controllability is our top priority goal, aimed at improving the reliability and quality of power supply to consumers.
