Governor of the Vladimir Region Vladimir Sipyagin discussed with the head of the energy company the implementation of the roadmap for the regulatory cooperation agreement signed in December. The agreement is aimed at the long-term development of the region’s power grid complex. The implementation of the document will allow power engineers to provide a sufficient amount of sources of financing of the investment program for the long term. In particular, they plan to invest 5 billion rubles in the modernization of the Vladimir energy system over six years.
As Igor Makovskiy noted during the meeting, the cooperation of the energy company with the Vladimir region is developing constructively: “This is especially important given the fact that the Vladimir region has been chosen as one of the pilot regions for the implementation of a comprehensive modernization program using digital technologies.”
The main topic of the meeting between the head of the Republic of Mari El Alexander Evstifeyev and Igor Makovskiy was also the modernization of the region’s power grid infrastructure using digital technologies. Among the main directions of this activity for the coming years, the head of IDGC of Centre outlined the provision of observability of transformer substations of 6.10/0.4 kV, the creation of a unified control centre for 0.4-110 kV grids, the organization of digital communication channels and digital radio communications, the widespread implementation of smart metering. Also, during the meeting between Alexander Evstifeev and Igor Makovskiy, issues of consolidation of power grid assets in the territory of Mari El, reduction of losses in the grids, as well as issues of tariff regulation were touched upon.
