IDGC of Centre summed up the work on connection of customers to electric grids for 2018. During the reporting period, the company executed 39,984 grid connection agreements, the total connected capacity under the executed agreements amounted to 867.518 MW. Total revenues from the grid connection amounted to 1.864 billion rubles, which is 0.26 billion rubles more than the approved business plan.
In 2018, IDGC of Centre connected to the power grids a number of enterprises and production sites that are important for the socio-economic development of the regions of its activity (11 subjects of the Central Federal District).
The Orel branch of the company completed the second phase of the new production complex of JSC HMS Livgidromash (part of the structure of a large machine-building and engineering holding JSC Group HMS). For this, the power engineers increased the capacity of the 110/10/6 kV substation “Livgidromash” that feeds the enterprise. JSC HMS Livgidromash is one of the largest manufacturers of pumping equipment in Russia, the geography of its supplies covers most of Russia’s regions and more than 30 countries of the world. IDGC of Centre completed the work on grid connection of its first phase in spring 2016, ensuring the delivery of 15 MW of capacity to the company. This became another major project of the company within the framework of the implementation of the state policy of import substitution.
Specialists of the Lipetsk branch of IDGC of Centre ensured the delivery of 4.2 MW to the Lebedyansky plant of construction and finishing machines (OJSC Stroymash). Additional capacity was required by Russia’s largest manufacturer of specialized equipment for power supply of the new aluminum section production plant. The power engineers of the branch “Tverenergo” in March 2018 completed the grid connection of electrical installations of the new high-speed highway M-11 Moscow-St. Petersburg in Bologovsky district with a capacity of about 1 MW. For this purpose, a 10 kV cable-overhead line with a length of 12 km from the 35/10 kV substation “Aleshinka” was constructed, and modernization was carried out at the power facility itself. And the branch “Yarenergo” fulfilled the grid connection of the wholesale distribution centre erected in the industrial park “Novoselki”.
A large amount of work was performed by IDGC of Centre in the past year regarding the connection to the grids of large facilities of the agro-industrial complex. In the Tambov region, the company’s specialists ensured the delivery of 3.8 MW of capacity to the commissioned Ilovaiskaya poultry farm after its modernization - one of the largest agricultural enterprises in the region. To this end, the power engineers reconstructed 10 kV overhead lines (Conductors) No. 3 and 6 “Khobotovskaya”, connecting the poultry plant with the same name substation of 110/35/10 kV.
Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division completed the grid connection of the high-tech meat processing complex of GC “Agropromkomplekatatsiya - Kursk”, one of the country’s leading agro-industrial associations specializing in pig farming and dairy cattle breeding. The enterprise, located in Zheleznogorsky district of the Kursk region, will produce 185 thousand tons of meat per year. Another important facility for the regional economy was the complex for cleaning and drying of grain in Fatezhsky district, built by Pristenskaya Grain Company LLC as part of the Fatezhskaya Lamb project, designed for 30 thousand heads of sheep of meat breed. As part of the grid connection contract, Kurskenergo provided the industrial site with 800 kW of power.
Last year the connection to the grids of significant health facilities continued. IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division at the end of June completed the grid connection of a new perinatal centre in Smolensk. The medical institution, the maximum connected capacity of which amounted to 2.29 MW, was built as part of the modernization of the regional healthcare system according to the regional state program “Development of healthcare in the Smolensk region for 2014–2020”.
Power engineers of the branch “Belgorodenergo” completed the grid connection of a new high-tech cardiology centre in Stary Oskol. The “Heart Clinic” centre opened in May, where up to 8,000 operations per year will be performed, will contribute to the task of reducing the mortality rate from cardiovascular diseases. In addition, 500 kW were given to a new production line of the Belgorod factory “Veropharm” for production of cytotoxic dosage forms for use in oncology - as a result, the total capacity of the enterprise increased to 2.4 MW.
Fulfilling its obligations on timely and full connection to the grids of large industrial facilities and production sites, housing, small and medium-sized businesses, IDGC of Centre makes a significant contribution to the social and economic development of the regions of the Central Federal District.
