IDGC of Centre in 2018 repaired more than 15 thousand kilometres of power lines and 4.5 thousand transformer substations

4 February 2019

IDGC of Centre summed up the implementation of the 2018 repair program. The company fulfilled several key measures of the document in excess of planned targets.

4,501 transformer substations of 0.4/6-10 kV and 15.333 thousand km of 0.4-110 kV overhead and cable power lines were repaired, which is 111% and 105% of the plan on an accrual basis, respectively. 23,563 thousand hectares of ROWs of overhead lines were cleared (208% of the planned indicators on an accrual basis). 2.333 billion rubles were allocated for the implementation of the repair program.

The largest volume of overhaul of 0.4-110 kV overhead lines was carried out at the branches “Belgorodenergo” and “Kurskenergo” - 2,240 thousand km and 2,228 thousand km, respectively.

Last year, the repairs covered a number of large and significant facilities in the regions where IDGC of Centre operates. Among them there are the 110 kV “Dormashevskaya” and “Zapadnaya” substations in the Bryansk region, “Alekseyevka” in the Belgorod region, “Terbuny” and “Gorokhovskaya” in the Lipetsk region, “Malinovskaya” in the Tambov region, and “Levoberezhnaya” in the Yaroslavl region.

The Belgorod substation “Alekseyevka” feeds about 70 thousand consumers, including the city of Alekseyevka and the city-forming enterprise “Efko Group of Companies”, which is one of the three largest companies in the Russian agro-industrial complex, a poultry factory and livestock breeding complexes. The “Dormashevskaya” substation in Bryansk supplies electricity to one of the oldest machine-building enterprises in Russia, the “Bryansk Arsenal” plant (part of the joint venture of “Russian Machines” and Terex Corporation “RM-Terex”), “NPF Electroapparat” LLC and a number of social facilities. The “Zapadnaya” feeding centre in Klintsy provides power to social infrastructure facilities, a dairy plant, a garment factory and a gas filling station.

The “Malinovskaya” substation is one of the main feeding centres of Tambovsky district. It supplies electricity to 85 settlements, 32 hospitals, 43 schools and kindergartens, life support facilities. Its major consumers include the “Malinovka” oil pumping station, which is part of OJSC “Druzhba” oil trunk pipelines structure”. The “Levoberezhnaya” substation feeds consumers of the left-bank part of the second largest city of the Yaroslavl region - Rybinsk, as well as plants of roofing materials and plastic products. The Lipetsk substations “Gorokhovskaya” and “Terbuny” feed a total of 43 settlements, including the city of regional subordination - Zadonsk, more than 17 thousand people, seven schools, ten kindergartens and three hospitals.

Also, in 2018, IDGC of Centre repaired overhead lines significant for regional energy systems. The power engineers of the Tver branch of the company repaired the overhead lines (Conductors) “CHP-3 unit 2 - Kalininskaya” and “CHP-3-1TR-Kalininskaya”, which are part of the “city ring” of Tver, and the 110 kV Conductor “Nelidovo-Erokhino” participating in power supply of an oil pumping station of the federal oil transit. And their Smolensk colleagues repaired the 110 kV Conductor “Safonovo-Foundry”, which participates in feeding of OJSC “Yartsevo Foundry”, the leading enterprise in the region for production of iron castings.

The branch “Orelenergo” performed a comprehensive overhaul on the 110 kV overhead line "Livny - Dolgoye No. 1" in Dolzhansky district. The line feeds the 10/35/10 kV substation “Dolgoye”, which provides electricity to consumers in the district, including the Dolzhanskaya Central District Hospital and the enterprise of the large regional agricultural holding “Yunost”. In the Tambov region, the 110 kV overhead line “Kotovskaya-Uvarovskaya circuit I, II” was repaired, which powers the 110 kV substation “Uvarovskaya”, supplying electricity to consumers in three districts at once - Uvarovsky, Muchkapsky and Zherdevsky.

The timely and complete implementation of IDGC of Centre’s repair program ensures the quality and reliability of power supply to consumers of 11 subjects of the Central Federal District, and largely contributes to the smooth and stable operation of the company’s power grid complex in these regions during the heating season.
