On 23 January, in the Government of the Tver region, Governor Igor Rudenya presented General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy with an honorary diploma for high professionalism and significant personal contribution to the All-Russian Power Engineering Exercises in the Tver region.
“A huge amount of work was done during the exercises. Today we see that the number of failures in the power system has decreased. The works were performed at the highest level,” stressed Igor Rudenya. The head of the region thanked the head and staff of IDGC of Centre for the important contribution to ensuring reliable power supply in the Tver region.
In his reply, the head of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region said: “I thank the head of the region for appreciating the company’s activities in the Tver region, as well as for effective cooperation in resolving issues related to electricity supply of consumers. The teamwork of power engineers and regional authorities brings the tangible results. Thus, in comparable conditions in comparison with the last year, the failure rate in the electrical grids of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre has already decreased 10 times. For the future we plan to stabilize this success.”
Please, be reminded that the exercises of power engineers started in the Tver region on 22 September. For three months the three-year plan of the branch of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo was executed. 12,700 hectares of routes were cleared and 1,103 hectares of routes along power lines were expanded, 549 km of ordinary wire were replaced with self-supporting insulated one. The large-scale measures taken by PJSC ROSSETI made it possible to increase the stability of the power supply in the Tver region and reduce the failure rate in the grids by 50%.
The power engineers also eliminated accidental defects in the power grids of the Upper Volga region. 11,901 reinforced concrete poles of overhead lines were installed, over 30,800 trees were fell, 327 transformer substations were repaired.
Employees of 20 branches of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, specialists from the Tver Regional General Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the State Budgetary Institution “LPC Tverles”, contracting organizations were involved in the exercises in the Upper Volga region. During the work more than 1,160 vehicles were used.
On 21 December, at the closing of the exercises, Governor Igor Rudenya and General Director of IDGC of Centre Igor Makovskiy handed the keys to the new vehicles to chiefs of Distribution Zones of the Tver region. The renewal of the fleet of specialized vehicles of the company “Tverenergo” is provided for by the Program for modernization of power supply in the Tver region. According to Igor Makovskiy, during the autumn-winter period of 2018-2019, over 200 vehicles are planned to be delivered. The new vehicles will allow the power engineers to successfully meet the challenges of ensuring planned development of power grids, and prompt elimination of technological violations.
