Governor of the Tver Region Igor Rudenya and General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy presented keys to the Tver power engineers for new specialized vehicles

Today, in the framework of the closure of the large-scale exercises of PJSC ROSSETI on organizing interaction and elimination of massive violations at power grid facilities of the Tver region, Governor of the Tver Region Igor Rudenya and General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy presented keys to power engineers of the Tver branch of the company for the first batch of new automobile and specialized vehicles. The fleet is renewed as part of a targeted program to improve the reliability and development of energy supply to consumers in the Tver region, with the implementation deadline until 2021.

At the moment, 62 units of domestic-made automobile and specialized vehicles have been made available to power engineers of Tverenergo: crew vehicles, multifunctional vehicles, aerials, drilling and crane machines, special trailers for transportation of power transmission lines, modern forest vehicles for clearing and maintaining ROWs along power lines, snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles , diesel generators and other technical equipment necessary for daily work of power engineers. In total, by the end of the heating period, the branch’s fleet will be replenished by more than 202 units.

Governor of the Tver Region Igor Rudenya, addressing the power engineers, once again thanked them for the great work done in the framework of the exercises. “I want to thank the power engineering specialists for what they have done for the residents of the Tver region who will celebrate the new year with an upgraded energy supply system. And I want to wish that in your work there will be as few extreme situations as possible, so that the regional power system will function reliably,” he noted.

Igor Makovskiy, handing the keys to the new vehicles, noted that the new domestic automobile and specialized vehicles will ensure the promptness of actions of Tverenergo’s specialists in all weather and relief conditions. “Ensuring the reliability of power supply to consumers depends not only on the professionalism of power engineers, but also on the availability of modern specialized vehicles. It is these two components that allow them to quickly respond to abnormal situations and effectively solve production problems,” stressed the head of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region.
