General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy inspected the functioning of the power grid complex of the Tula region

General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy visited the Tula region. The head of the companies checked the setup of the management system and the quality of operation of the electric grid infrastructure of the branch of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region - Tulenergo, and also held a meeting with the company’s staff.

During the trip, Igor Makovskiy visited Obidimsky and Zaoksky Distribution Zones of Tulenergo, where he checked the operation of a number of electric grid facilities. In particular, the 110 kV substation “Zaokskaya”, as well as the 35 kV substation “Nenashevo”, the reconstruction of which will be made in the next few years.

In Tula, Igor Makovskiy visited the 110 kV substation “Perekop”, which provides electricity to large industrial, transport enterprises and socially significant consumers in the south-eastern part of the city.

Safety of professional activity and personnel training became an important topic of discussion in the corporate training centre “Energetik”. When visiting the training centre, the head of the company noted the modern equipment of training and computer classrooms, and also stressed the need for continuous staff development to reduce the risk of erroneous actions.

Summing up the meeting with the staff of the branch “Tulenergo”, Igor Makovskiy noted the importance of successful implementation of all plans, in particular, a large-scale project in the Zaoksky energy centre. It is necessary to continue the development of grid infrastructure, to apply modern technologies and equipment to prevent disruptions in the operation of the electric grid complex. The Tula branch has great potential to become a leader among the 20 regions where the companies operate. It is necessary to rethink and more efficiently use all available resources in the branch.
