Alexey Dyumin held a working meeting with General Director of IDGC of Centre Igor Makovskiy

On 26 October, Governor Alexey Dyumin held a working meeting with General Director of IDGC of Centre Igor Makovskiy, and Director of the branch “Tulenergo” Yury Timonin also attended the meeting.

Governor thanked IDGC of Centre for the work on the development of the regional power grid complex, as well as for the implementation of large-scale projects to improve the reliability of electricity supply in Zaoksky and Suvorovsky districts. The head of the region noted that Tulenergo is the largest electric grid company in the region, cooperation with which is very important for the regional government.

“The company has outlined a number of measures for the modernization of electric grid facilities, digitalization of grids, and the consolidation of power grid assets. We expect that they will be implemented on time,” said Alexey Dyumin.

As Igor Makovskiy noted, the power system of the Tula region is one of the most reliable. According to the strategy of development of Russian grids, the company faces the task of switching to the digital principle of operation of the electric grid complex until 2030. And the Tula region is considered among the first participants in this program. According to General Director of IDGC of Centre, the company is ready to sign an agreement on the implementation of a ten-year program of modernization of the electric grid complex in the region. This will allow to increase the efficiency of its operation, reduce costs and, as a result, will create opportunities for the formation of the most optimal pricing mechanisms for all categories of consumers.
