IDGC of Centre summarized the results of work on connection to electric grids in the first half of 2018. During the reporting period, the company concluded 19,856 grid connection agreements with consumers, 16,787 contracts were executed. The total connected capacity under the executed contracts was 347 MW, the total revenue from grid connection is 781.164 million rubles.

In January-June, IDGC of Centre connected a number of enterprises and facilities important for the social and economic development of its regions of activity (11 subjects of the Central Federal District) to the electric grids.

The Orel branch of the company at the beginning of February performed grid connection of the second stage of a new production facility of JSC "HMS Livgidromash" (part of the structure of a large machine building and engineering holding JSC "HMS Group"). To do this, the power company increased the capacity of the 110/10/6 kV substation "Livgidromash", which feeds the enterprise. JSC "HMS Livgidromash" is one of the largest manufacturers of pumping equipment in the territory of Russia, the geography of its supplies covers most regions of Russia and more than 30 countries. IDGC of Centre completed the work on the grid connection of its first stage in the spring of 2016, ensuring the delivery of 15 MW of capacity to the enterprise. This became another major project of the company within the framework of implementing the state policy of import substitution.

In the Belgorod region, IDGC of Centre provided electricity to the first of four stages of the pharmaceutical plant of the company "Advance Pharmaceuticals" and a new production line of the plant "Veropharm". The new plant "Advance Pharmaceuticals" in the industrial park "Severny" will produce medicines to treat a wide range of diseases, the line annually plans to produce 500 million tablets and capsules and 100 tons of pellets from tuberculosis and HIV. The power supply of the enterprise is carried out from the grid infrastructure constructed on the territory of the industrial park by the Belgorod branch of IDGC of Centre. Within the framework of the grid connection agreement, Belgorodenergo provided 1 MW of capacity to the new pharmaceutical production. The plant "Veropharm" produces cytotoxic medicinal forms used in oncology, the products of the company are included in the list of vital medicines and are supplied to all regions of Russia. The project for its modernization and expansion of production started in 2016, in addition to the new line, new production sites and a quality laboratory will be launched within it, the total amount of investments will be 3 billion rubles. The grid connection contract between the plant and Belgorodenergo to deliver additional capacity has already been concluded.

Power engineers of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre in March fulfilled the grid connection of electrical installations of the section of the new high-speed motorway M-11 "Moscow-Saint-Petersburg" in Bologovsky district with its capacity of 1 MW. For this purpose, a 10 kV cable-overhead line with a length of 12 km from the 35/10 kV substation "Aleshinka" was constructed, and modernization was carried out at the power plant itself. And the branch "Lipetskenergo" in June increased the capacity of the Lebedyansky plant of construction and finishing machines by 4.2 MW (OJSC "Stroymash"). The enterprise is the largest domestic manufacturer and supplier of specialized equipment and decided to expand production through the manufacture of tools and building levels. Additional power was required for the power supply of a new workshop for production of aluminum profiles.

A large amount of work was done by IDGC of Centre with connection to the grid of large agro-industrial facilities. In the Tambov region, the company’s specialists provided the delivery of 3.8 MW of capacity commissioned after modernization of the poultry farm "Ilovaiskaya" - one of the largest agricultural enterprises in the region. For this purpose, power engineers reconstructed 10 kV overhead lines # 3 and 6 "Khobotovskaya" connecting the poultry farm with the 110/35/10 kV substation with the same name. The Kursk branch of IDGC of Centre in July completed the project on connection to the power grid of a large high-tech meat processing facility with a production capacity of 185 thousand tons per year, which is being built in Zheleznogorsky district of the Kursk region by the company "AgroPromkomplektatsiya-Kursk". Within the framework of this project, a 14-kilometre tap from the 35 kV "Troitskaya-Voropaevo" overhead line was constructed to the 35/10 kV substation of the applicant. The total connected capacity of the facility is 4.9 MW. The Group of Companies "AgroPromkomplektatsiya" is one of the leading agro-industrial associations in the Russian Federation, specializes in pig breeding and dairy farming, as well as in processing products and selling them to consumers. The Group’s enterprises are active participants in measures for import substitution and ensuring food security of the Russian Federation.

In addition, in the first half of the year, Kurskenergo’s specialists increased by 0.8 MW the capacity of the mushroom growing facility "Mushroom Rainbow", which they connected in 2017, producing up to 12,000 tons of mushroom products per year for the Kursk region and other regions of the Black Soil region.

In the Bryansk region, IDGC of Centre provided power supply to a farm with grazing cattle of LLC "Bryansk Meat Company", a part of the agro-industrial holding "Miratorg" - for this, a new 10 kV overhead line was constructed by power engineers. The facility was commissioned in late May. And the Kostroma branch of the company provided the delivery of power to a mushroom facility of LLC "AC "Sudislavsky". The launch of the facility with a capacity of 480 tons per year is planned for the autumn of 2018.

Connection to the grid of significant social facilities continued in the first half of the year. Power engineers of the branch "Smolenskenergo" completed the grid connection of a perinatal centre under construction in Smolensk at the end of June. The facility with a maximum connected capacity of 2.29 MW is being built within the framework of the region’s healthcare modernization under the regional state program "Health Development in the Smolensk Region" for 2014-2020". And specialists of the Belgorod branch of IDGC of Centre implemented the grid connection of a new high-tech cardiac centre, which opened in Stary Oskol in May. The Centre will conduct about 8,000 operations a year, according to Governor of the Belgorod region Evgeny Savchenko, the "Heart Clinic" will contribute to the implementation of the task facing the medical community of the region to reduce the level of mortality from cardiovascular diseases by half within five to three years.

Among housing development facilities, connected by specialists of IDGC of Centre, is a new micro-district in the southern part of Tambov, built within the framework of the "Housing for the Russian Family" program. During the first stage of the grid connection, three residential houses were connected to the grid for 446 apartments with a total residential area of 25 thousand square metres, for this purpose more than 5 km of cable lines from 110/6 kV substation #5 to the customer’s transformer substation 6/0.4 kV were constructed, from which new homes are supplied with electricity. The second stage of connection to the branch’s grid will be completed as more residential buildings are completed in the new micro-district.

Fulfilling its obligations on timely and full-scale connection to the grid of large industrial facilities and production sites, houses, small and medium-sized businesses, IDGC of Centre makes a significant contribution to the social and economic development of the regions of the Central Federal District.
