Power engineers of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region awarded for high professionalism shown during the All-Russian exercises in the Republic of Dagestan

48 specialists from the grouping of IDGC of Centre and IDGC Centre and Volga Region were distinguished by the Ministry for North Caucasus Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Head of the Republic of Dagestan, the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Republic of Dagestan, the Administration of Karabudakhkentsky district and PJSC "Rosseti".

From 20 July to 20 August in the Republic of Dagestan All-Russian exercises were held to work out the interaction between the companies of the group "Rosseti" during the liquidation of emergency situations in the power grid complex. More than 2,2 thousand power engineers from different regions of the country took part in the exercises, which not only worked out approaches to eliminate failures for a month, but also helped the regional grid company save millions of rubles on energy losses.

IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region were represented by the grouping of 786 people and 279 vehicles. The zone of its responsibility was Karabudakhkentsky district.

During the exercises, the specialists of the two companies worked on the reconstruction of grids. From the beginning of the exercises in the settlements of Karabudakhkentsky district, the power engineers of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region replaced 2,599 poles of overhead power lines. They installed 163 kilometres of self-supporting insulated wire - more durable and reliable than conventional wire. Three transformer substations were repaired. 6,685 meters were installed, including 490 devices for data collection and transmission, 3 transformer substations were repaired. All works were carried out with overfulfillment of the plan.

In the shortest possible time, showing the highest professionalism and responsibility, realizing the importance of the quality of the works carried out for the development of the power grid complex of the Republic of Dagestan and ensuring uninterrupted power supply to consumers, the grouping’s specialists implemented the plan set. The work of the power engineers was highly appreciated by the leadership of PJSC "Rosseti" and the head of Karabudakhkentsky district.

On the eve there was the award ceremony. For the high professionalism shown during the All-Russian exercises, 48 ​​people (machine operators, masters, electricians, engineers, drivers and other specialists) received letters of thanks from the head of Karabudakhkentsky district, four power engineers from the branches "Belgorodenergo", "Kirovenergo", "Tverenergo", "Tulenergo" - were given breastplates "For professional skills" of PJSC "Rosseti". Two more specialists from the Tver and Ryazan regions were awarded with letters of gratitude from the Ministry for North Caucasus Affairs of the Russian Federation.

It should be noted that General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing company of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Oleg Isaev and Chief Engineer of the company Alexander Pilyugin were awarded with the Letters of Gratitude of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan. And Deputy Chief Engineer for Operation of IDGC of Centre Alexander Kornilov was awarded with the Certificate of Honour of the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Republic of Dagestan. In addition, the grouping of IDGC of Centre and IDGC Centre and Volga Region received letters of appreciation from the head of Dagestan for their contribution to the republic’s energy supply.

According to Alexander Pilyugin, First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre - the managing company of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, a member of the Headquarters "Rosseti" at the exercises in Dagestan that the exercises, which were completed in Dagestan, are unprecedented in scale. According to him, for Dagestan this is a significant contribution to ensuring reliable and uninterrupted power supply, and for power engineers it is unique experience and new skills both in terms of their professional activities and in improving the effectiveness of interaction with colleagues from other regions.
