IDGC of Centre spent over 300 million rubles on labour protection and ensuring occupational safety of employees for half a year

During the first half of 2018, IDGC of Centre spent 299.1 million rubles on implementation of a set of measures aimed at protecting labour and ensuring production safety of its personnel. The bulk of the funds, 236.3 million rubles, is aimed at providing workers with overalls, personal protective equipment and devices that reduce risks of injury during work. Compared to the same period last year, this amount increased by 22 million rubles.

For 6 months, 43.5 million rubles were allocated for sanitary and hygienic measures for prevention of diseases at the workplace, 7.3 million rubles for the overall improvement of working conditions for the company’s employees.

In order to monitor compliance with safety requirements, all branches of the company regularly organize inspections of working crews. Measures are being taken to organize safe execution of planned and emergency works in electrical installations, improvement of internal technical control systems and operational and technological management.

Monthly Safety Days are held within the framework of which work is carried out with personnel on prevention of occupational injuries, they check sanitary and hygienic conditions of household premises, the fire condition of buildings and structures, provision of the staff with overalls, special footwear and personal protective equipment.

As part of road safety, IDGC of Centre continues to train specialists in the "Program of Protective Driving", whose goal is to develop situational thinking skills, defensive behaviour on the road, improve concentration, recognize hazards and predict actions of other road users. So, in the first half of 2018, 345 employees of the company received safe driving skills.
