A meeting of subdivisions of the security unit of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region held in Kursk

Heads of the security unit of all branches of the companies took part in the event. The meeting was held under the supervision of Vladimir Ozhkalo, Deputy General Director for Security of IDGC of Centre, which was devoted to summing up the results of the security forces’ activities in the first half of 2018 and the forthcoming tasks for the second half of the year.

Vladimir Ozhkalo noted that the most important tasks of the security services of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region are currently the protection of electric power facilities and their equipping with technical means of security, increasing the efficiency of measures to minimize receivables, counteracting non-metered and non-contractual electricity consumption, prevention of economic crimes that cause damage to the companies.

Within the framework of the meeting, the participants discussed a number of topical problem issues of economic, information, and integrated security.

In particular, the participants analyzed the work of the security units to counter non-metered and non-contractual electricity consumption, to identify sites that distribute banned information on the implementation of non-metered and non-contractual electricity consumption and direction of appeals to law enforcement agencies with a view to blocking them.

The meeting focused on the interaction of the security unit with the law enforcement agencies in the direction of the application materials on identified facts of non-metered and non-contractual electricity consumption, and bringing officials to responsibility following the results of inspections of economic activities.

The participants also shared their experience of cooperation with the executive authorities in the framework of countering violations in guard zones of power lines, cooperation with the Federal Service of Russian Bailiffs in the process of implementing court decisions aimed at paying off overdue receivables for electricity transmission services provided.

In the opinion of the meeting participants, the high significance of the event is that it allowed the participants not only to exchange opinions and experience, but also to develop targets aimed at efficiently solving the problems of ensuring the integrated security of the power grid complex of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and the Volga Region.
