IDGC of Centre since the beginning of the year repaired about 2.5 thousand substations and more than 7.5 thousand kilometres of power lines, power engineers work ahead of schedule

6 August 2018

IDGC of Centre summed up the results of the implementation of the repair program for the first half of the year. The company performs a number of its key actions ahead of schedule. 2,461 transformer substations with a voltage of 0.4/6-10 kV and 7,631 kilometres of 0.4-110 kV overhead and cable power lines were repaired, which is 105% and 106% of the plan with the cumulative total, respectively. 21 power transformers at 35-110 kV substations were overhauled. 6,425 hectares of ROWs of overhead lines were cleared (102% to the planned indicators cumulatively). 1,187 billion rubles were allocated for the implementation of these measures.

The main activities of the repair program start after the end of the next autumn-winter period, when it becomes possible to decommission equipment that is in need of repair, and are completed by the end of September. Their main volume is in the summer. According to the plan, in the course of 2018, IDGC of Centre will overhaul equipment at 745 substations of 35-110 kV, overhaul 4,294 transformer substations and 14,400 kilometres of overhead power lines (conductors). 11.3 thousand hectares of ROWs of overhead power lines will be cleared of woody and shrub vegetation.

The largest number of substations of 35-110 kV, according to the plan, will be covered by repairs in the branches of Voronezhenergo (150) and Bryanskenergo (123). The largest volumes of overhaul of overhead lines are planned in the branches of Belgorodenergo and Kurskenergo (2.2 thousand km and 2.1 thousand km).

Among the large and significant facilities, where major repairs will be done - the 110 kV substations "Dormashevskaya" and "Zapadnaya" in the Bryansk region, "Alekseevka" in the Belgorod region, "Terbuny" and "Gorokhovskaya" in the Lipetsk region, "Malinovskaya" in the Tambov region, "Left Bank" in the Yaroslavl region.

The Belgorod substation "Alekseevka" feeds about 70,000 consumers, including the town of Alekseevka and the city-forming enterprise GC "Efko", which is one of the three largest companies in the Russian agribusiness sector, a poultry farm, livestock complexes. The work is planned to be completed in late August.

The substation "Dormashevskaya" in Bryansk supplies electricity to one of the oldest machine-building enterprises in Russia, the plant "Bryansk Arsenal" (part of the joint venture of "Russian Machines" and Terex Corporation "RM-Terex"), LLC "NPF Electroapparat" and a number of social facilities. Work at this power facility is planned to be completed this month. At the same time, repairs will also be completed at the "Zapadnaya" feeding centre in Klintsy, which provides power output to social infrastructure facilities, a dairy plant, a garment factory and a gas filling station.

"Malinovskaya" is one of the main feeding centres of the Tambov region. It supplies electricity to 85 settlements, 32 hospitals, 43 schools and kindergartens, life support facilities. Among its large consumers is the oil pumping station "Malinovka", which is part of the structure of OJSC "Druzhba Trunk Oil Pipelines", and the completion date for this substation is September.

The substation "Left Bank" feeds consumers of the left-bank part of the second largest city of the Yaroslavl region - Rybinsk, factories of roofing materials and plastic products. Here work will be completed in August. The Lipetsk substations "Gorokhovskaya" and "Terbuny" feed a total of 43 settlements, including a city of regional subordination - Zadonsk, more than 17 thousand people, seven schools, ten kindergartens and three hospitals. The planned repair of transformers has already been completed at the first power facility, the work will be completed at the second one before the end of August.

In 2018, IDGC of Centre also plans to repair significant overhead power lines for regional power systems. Power engineers of the Tver branch of the company, in particular, have already completed work on the overhead lines (conductors) "CHPP-3 Unit 2-Kalininskaya" and "CHPP-3-1TR-Kalininskaya", which are part of the Tver City Ring, and in August they will repair the 110 kV conductor "Nelidovo-Erokhino", involved in the power supply of an oil pumping station of the federal oil transit. The branch "Smolenskenergo" will complete repairs in August at the 110 kV conductor "Safonovo-Liteinaya", which takes part in the feed of OJSC "Yartsevsky Foundry", the leading enterprise in the region for production of cast iron.

Specialists of the branch "Orelenergo" will carry out comprehensive overhaul by the end of the summer at the 110 kV conductor "Livny-Dolgoye No. 1" in Dolzhansky district. The line feeds the 10/35/10 kV substation "Dolgoye", which provides electricity to the district’s consumers, including the Dolzhansky central district hospital and the enterprise of the large regional agricultural holding "Yunost". In the Tambov region until September, the 110 kV conductor "Kotovskaya-Uvarovskaya circuit I, II" will be repaired, which feeds the 110 kV substation "Uvarovskaya", supplying electricity to consumers of three districts at once - Uvarovsky, Muchkapsky and Zherdevsky.

The implementation of the repair program of IDGC of Centre will ensure the quality and reliability of electricity supply to consumers in 11 constituents of the Central Federal District, and will largely contribute to the smooth and stable operation of the company’s electric grid complex in these regions during the period of the autumn-winter maximum of loads.
