IDGC of Centre’s construction crew students conducted an action in the Bryansk region "No theft!"

Members of the students’ construction crews "Fortress", "Impulse", "Night Watch", carrying out the labor watch at facilities of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division took part in the motor rally "No theft!", organized by the power enterprise. Together with employees of the branch, the guys drove through settlements of the Bryansk region, where in the first half of the year a high level of electricity losses was recorded. There they conducted checks of households, during which they told local residents about the inadmissibility of non-contractual and non-metered electricity consumption and distributed thematic information materials. In total, the power engineers and students visited more than 50 households.

"I am glad that during my work at Bryanskenergo, I was given the opportunity to take part in a campaign aimed at countering the theft of electricity," said Yury Mameev, the commander of the "Night Watch" crew. "It is necessary to conduct explanatory work with consumers on this topic. After all, the theft of electricity is not only a criminal offense, but also a risk factor for life and health."

Students of the crews of IDGC of Centre actively participate in measures to identify and prevent theft of electricity. Thus, the participants of the students’ construction crews of the Lipetsk branch of the company took part in the "Stop the Energy Thief" bike ride, organized by them. The action covered the suburbs of Lipetsk, its participants paid special attention to the settlements, where previously large-scale violations of energy consumption were noted. During the run, the students were able to identify and record several facts of illegal connections to power grids, information about which they gave to responsible specialists.
