The fifth working season of students’ construction crews of the group of companies "Rosseti" is continuing at IDGC of Centre. At the beginning of July, 275 students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions started working at the company’s power facilities, consisting of 32 crews. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, they participate in routine inspections of transformer substations, checking power lines, and cleaning logging residues while clearing ROWs. In addition, the students are involved in repair and construction work and in reading of electricity meters.
Thus, students from the crew "Energetik", working at facilities of the branch "Kurskenergo", for the past two weeks, together with specialists from Kursky Distribution Zone, conducted about 800 checks of private sector customers. And members of the crew "Energy 44" of the Kostroma branch of the company, in addition to working on the main directions, took part in activities to ensure fire safety of the most important feeding centre in Kostroma - the "North" substation.
Students actively participate in no less important and significant non-productive activities. In particular, they gladly responded to the offer of power engineers to conduct together with them classes on prevention of electric injuries in children’s health camps. Members of the Kostroma crew "Energy 44" together with representatives of the regional offices of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, as well as the All-Russian Voluntary Firefighting Society, conducted road safety games on 4 and 12 July in the camps "Motorist" and "Blue Horizons". Students from the crew "Phase", working at Belgorodenergo, together with energy specialists organized last week an interactive lesson and flash mob for electrical safety for teenagers who are having holidays at the sanatorium "Dubravushka" in Korochansky district.
And students of construction crews of Lipetskenergo took part in the "Stop the Energy Thief" bike ride organized by the branch, the purpose of which was to identify cases of theft of electricity. 25 members drove along with workers of the enterprise in the suburbs of Lipetsk, paying special attention to settlements, where previously large-scale violations of energy consumption were recorded.
As in past years, useful leisure and an extensive cultural program has been organized for members of construction crews of IDGC of Centre. So, power engineers of Kurskenergo held for students a tour to the house-museum of the writer Arkady Gaidar. In the next few days a friendly match of the members of the crew "Energetik" with the team of the Youth Council of the branch is planned here. And students of construction crews of Orelenergo took part in a solemn rally in honour of the opening of the hockey tournament, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Battle of the Orel-Kursk Bulge. In addition, tours to energy facilities were organized in all branches of the company for students of construction crews. The fifth season of students’ construction crews will be completed in mid-August.
