IDGC of Centre provided power supply to a large agro-industrial facility in the Kursk region

Specialists of the Kursk branch of IDGC of Centre completed the project on connection to the power grid of a large high-tech meat-processing facility with a production capacity of 185 thousand tons per year, which is being built by the company "AgroPromkomplektatsiya-Kursk" in Zheleznogorsky district of the Kursk region. The total connected capacity of the facility is 4.9 MW.

As part of the grid connection agreement, the power engineers constructed a 14-kilometre tap of the 35 kV "Troitskaya-Voropaevo" overhead line to the 35/10 kV substation of the applicant. Currently, the processing of the documentation necessary to put the facility into commercial operation is underway.

IDGC of Centre makes a significant contribution to the social and economic development of the Kursk region. Among the largest and most significant facilities of the region, connected to the company’s grids last year - a farm of the GC "Miratorg" for raising cattle for over 20 thousand heads in Sudzhansky district - the only industrial production in Russia of pink veal, a mushroom growing complex "Mushroom Rainbow" in Kursky district with a design capacity of up to 12,000 tons per year and production buildings of OJSC "Pharmstandard-Leksredstva" - one of the five largest manufacturers of medicines in Russia. In addition, during this period, power was provided to several schools and sports and recreation facilities.
