IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division held the action "Energy against smoking!". The event was organized and held by the Youth Council of the company with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyles, as well as attracting the attention of the company’s employees to the problem of smoking.
On this day, representatives of the youth council placed at the entrances and exits from the building of the executive office, as well as in places where employees habitually smoke, posters, which motivate to abandon the addiction. In addition, at the entrance to the building a mobile information exposition was deployed, where everyone, including clients, could get acquainted with the main facts about the dangers of smoking and myths about its safety for human health. In the meantime, the young power engineers showed their strength and healthy spirit to the rest of the employees - they were pushing up, doing long jumps, squats.
Promotion of a healthy lifestyle is one of the priority areas of Kostromaenergo’s social policy. The branch’s youth council has been carrying out anti-smoking activities for more than five years. So, for example, last year the organizers of the campaign offered smoking workers to exchange nicotine for an orange, and in 2016 they changed their cigarettes for sweets.
