On 24 June, as a result of unfavourable weather conditions - gusty wind of up to 23 metres per second, heavy rain and hail, there was a power failure in a number of settlements in the north-east of the Tver region, in particular, in Vesyegonsky, Bezhetsky, Molokovsky districts. Currently, employees of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division have located and isolated all faults in power lines, and work is in progress to eliminate them.
There are 63 crews of power engineers or 179 people and 69 vehicles being on the round-the-clock duty in the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre. One-third of these personnel are involved in emergency recovery operations in the north-east of the region, the remaining crews are placed on high alert and are ready to move quickly to sites of emergency recovery operations, if necessary.
