IDGC of Centre presented a new children’s book on energy saving in the Belgorod region

1 June 2018

On the eve of the Children’s Day, employees of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division presented the book "Energy Saving Tips", published on the initiative and with the support of the company. The new edition includes written by power engineers verses about useful tips on energy saving, designed for a wide range of readers - from kids to their parents, grandparents. According to Oleg Efremov, an engineer of the energy saving and energy efficiency office of Belgorodenergo, the most effective ways of saving electricity are accumulated in it, and the format in which they are set out is designed for family out-of-class reading.

The entire edition of the book is intended for dissemination at energy saving classes that Belgorodenergo will spend this summer in school and children’s health camps in the region, and in the autumn - in schools and kindergartens in the framework of the regional festival #TogetherBrighter.

The first readers of the "Energy Saving Tips" were about 100 pupils of the regional Social and Rehabilitation Centre for children and adolescents with disabilities. The power engineers organized a cheerful holiday for them on the theme of energy saving, during which each pupil was presented with a novelty book.

"I would recommend reading the book "Energy Saving Tips" not only to children, but also to adults who also often forget about the need to save electricity," Irina Dolgikh, Director of the Centre, shared her impressions of the new publication. "Meanwhile, it consists of very simple things: to replace light bulbs, leaving, turn off the light ... If we teach our children from the early age the rational use of energy, then in the future they will tell this to their friends, acquaintances, parents."
