IDGC of Centre is ready to provide reliable power supply to points of the Unified State Exam in regions of the Central Federal District

IDGC of Centre completed the preparation of power grid facilities to ensure reliable power supply to points of taking the Unified State Examination (USE). This year the main stage of the USE will be held from 28 May to 2 July, in the regions of the company’s service area (11 subjects of the Central Federal District) the exam will be taken by about 60 thousand students.

In the service area of IDGC of the Centre there are 268 educational institutions where the USE will be conducted. The largest number of points of taking the unified state examination falls on the branches of Belgorodenergo (42), Smolenskenergo (37), Kostromaenergo (36), Yarenergo (32). Staff of the company’s branches implemented a set of preparatory measures at the infrastructure facilities that provide power supply to the points of taking the Unified State Examination.

Unplanned inspections of transformer substations and power lines were carried out. Schemes of power supply to the points of taking the USE were brought to the state of normative reliability. Redundant power supply sources are ready for use.

For prompt response to possible technological violations, a clear scheme for notifying first responding and repair personnel is set, the order of interaction with executive authorities and local self-government, as well as with territorial grid organizations, is defined. First responding mobile and repair crews are assigned for each point of the USE. Responsible staff was briefed.

In the days of examination in all power centres that provide power supply to points of taking the USE, scheduled work and switching will be suspended. In addition, the duty of first responding and repair crews of Distribution Zones will be strengthened.
