9 May 1945 is a sacred date in the history of Russia, a symbol of courage, persistence and timeless greatness of our people! This day will forever remain in our memory as the end of a bloody and ruthless struggle against the aggressor, who set out to conquer our land, to bring it to its knees and destroy our great people.
Heroism and selfless courage of defenders of the Fatherland, of all our people not only turned the enemy into flight, but also crushed him in his own den. To honour the memory of those terrible days of war is our sacred duty, as well as the obligation to pass on to our descendants this memory of the tragedy of war and the greatness of the people who defeated fascism.
On this bright and festive day, I wish you, all your loved and dear ones the peaceful sky over your head, a happy life in the blooming and prosperous Fatherland!
