The primary trade union organization of IDGC of Centre summed up the results of its activities in 2017. The trade union of the company in the specified period successfully continued the system work aimed at providing its employees with comfortable and safe working conditions and a decent level of social security, organizing active and useful leisure and recreation for them.
Representing the interests of members of the primary trade union organization (it unites 24 thousand people, which is more than 75% of the total number of IDGC of Centre’s staff), the Trade Union last year held a number of working meetings and negotiations with the management of the company on a number of topical issues related to further improving the level of material well-being and quality industrial safety of workers. An annual trade union audit of the implementation of the Collective Agreement was conducted. It should be noted that the key provisions of this document are formed taking into account the position of the Trade Union, and today it is estimated by experts as one of the best in the power grid complex. IDGC of Centre’s employees are paid salaries on time, material assistance, benefits and compensation are provided. The spectrum and volumes of social support are expanding.
In order to improve the level of industrial safety, the trade union committee, trade union active members and trade union organizations of branches in 2017 continued to implement trade union programs to improve working conditions. Within the framework of these programs, with the support of the trade union, new recreation areas for staff are being created, equipped with a room for eating meals, sporting corners and gyms are set up, and psychological relaxation rooms function. Also last year, a trade-union audit of readiness to work in the autumn-winter period was performed, the provision of workers with personal protective equipment was checked.
The trade union took an active part in the preparation and holding of qualification competitions for professional skills of crews for repair and maintenance of 0.4-10 kV distribution grids of IDGC of Centre. The organization established a special contest nomination for the participants, all the employees of the winning crew were awarded with free vouchers.
Work continued on improving the activities of authorized persons of the Trade Union for labour protection. The trade union organizations of the branches actively participated with their own initiatives. So, in 2017 Belgorodenergo declared the "Year of the Commissioner for Labour Protection", the branch adopted a program to improve the work of authorized persons of the company. In addition, last year IDGC of Centre held its regular annual contest "The Best Commissioner for Labour Protection", the winner of which was a master of a crew for diagnostics of electrical equipment of Krasnoyaruzhsky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division, Sergey Shopinsky.
During the reporting period, the trade union committee, in cooperation with the company’s management, actively participated in the organization of sports and mass work. In particular, the annual Summer Sports Games of IDGC of Centre, the open ice hockey championship, and the hockey tournament, dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Battle of the Orel-Kursk Bulge, were organized. The role of the union in the organization of the hockey tournament of Group of Companies "Rosseti", held in Tver, was also significant. And also - in rendering assistance to IDGC of Centre’s teams for participation in "Rosseti" tournaments in mini-football, volleyball, hockey, skiing and chess. In many respects thanks to the favourable conditions created for the company’s employees to do physical training and sports with the participation of the Trade Union, representatives of IDGC of Centre successfully perform at regional and all-Russian competitions held by various professional associations.
As part of the cultural mass work, the trade union active members of IDGC of Centre regularly participated in organizing festivals of amateur creativity and competitions, organized excursion tours and tourist trips for employees of the company and members of their families, and visits to entertainment events. Much was done to organize summer and winter holidays for power engineers and their families.
The Trade Union closely and fruitfully cooperated with the veterans’ and youth organizations of IDGC of Centre. In particular, a great deal of work was done to organize events dedicated to the Victory Day, Power Engineers’ Day and the Day of the Elderly, meetings and congratulations of veterans and retirees of the branches within the framework of the Days of the Elderly. In addition, within the framework of cooperation with the Youth Councils of the branches, the Trade Union traditionally assisted in ensuring the activities of students’ construction crews of the power grid complex, holding a youth gathering - a personnel reserve.
The primary trade union organization of IDGC of Centre intends to continue to follow the planned course, to conduct active work in all priority areas. Among them - control over the implementation of the collective agreement and labour protection activities, advisory assistance to members of the trade union on issues of interest, cultural and sports activities.
