IDGC of Centre’s representative won in the regional contest of the Belgorod region "Engineer of the Year-2017"

An engineer of Yakovlevsky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division Alexander Tsypchenko was among winners of the regional contest "Engineer of the Year - 2017". Alexander excelled in the nomination "Power supply, electrical grids and systems". Employees of more than two dozen enterprises and organizations of the region took part in the competition.

Alexander Tsypchenko came to work at Belgorodenergo in 2013, after graduating from the Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov. He took an active part in the realization of a large-scale project for the implementation of an automated information measuring system for commercial electricity metering (AMR), which provided consumers of Yakovlevsky district with the opportunity to access data on their own energy consumption on-line. He was engaged in the modernization of the fleet of meters and the formation of a database of legal entities. Currently, he works in the marketing and customer relations department of Yakovlevsky Distribution Zone, where he oversees issues of connection to grids of important social facilities and large industrial enterprises. The participation of Alexander Tsypchenko ensured the connection to the grid of the sports and recreational complex "Sports City" and the park of culture and recreation in the city of Stroitel, centres of the general practitioner in the villages of Bykovka and Sazhnoye, the Bykovsky House of Culture, as well as the asphalt plant of "Stroymagistral" LLC and the firm "Butovo-Agro".

The regional contest "Engineer of the Year-2017" has been held in the region for more than ten years, it is organized by the Department for Economic Development of the region with the support of the Belgorod Regional Resource Innovation Centre. The purpose of the competition is to popularize achievements and experience of the best engineering workers, to increase the attractiveness of engineering activities, and to form an interest in work and technical creativity among young people.
