In Russia, the contest for the best start-up in the electric power industry was launched, organized by Quadro Electric together with the educational program Startup Academy of Business School Skolkovo.
The goal of the project is to find and support start-up entrepreneurs, engineers and future participants of the electricity market. Authors of the best projects in the categories:
will receive grants for training in the Startup Academy of Business School Skolkovo. This is an educational program for entrepreneurs who are already developing their own project, or are planning to start a business from scratch.
The training project will include several thematic blocks, including business modelling, marketing, investment and finance, etc. The final stage of training will be to protect for the jury consisting of business angels, representatives of venture funds, ready to invest in the most promising projects.

As noted in the company, IDGC of Centre is interested in that as many young and ambitious specialists as possible declare themselves in the electric power industry, because today the obvious problem of the industry is the insufficient number of technical personnel who are simultaneously well-versed in business, as well as investment-attractive projects. This contest is able to fill the gap and form in the near future a cohort of start-ups and innovative teams with promising projects.
