In 2017, IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division provided power supply for 22 agro-industrial facilities of the Smolensk region. According to the data of the grid connection office of the branch the power engineers allowed to provide 3.265 MW to agricultural and processing industries.
During the year, the grid connection of four farms of LLC "Bryansk Meat Company" was completed in different districts of the region, buildings of "Gorodnyansky Sady" LLC and "Lubava" LLC, a dozen individual business facilities and others were connected to the grid of the branch. The largest connected facilities were "Agricultural Enterprise Mescherskoye" LLC (capacity 570 kW) and ZAO "Troparevo" (capacity 405 kW).
Also, in 2017, the capacity of consumption of a poultry farm of "Smetanino" LLC, a farm with grazing cattle of "Bryansk Meat Company" LLC, a poultry house building of Agricultural consuming processing cooperative "Flax Dale", an agricultural facility of "Veles Product" LLC was increased. The largest applicant of this category was a pig-farm of "Meat Razgulay" LLC with a maximum capacity of 905 kW.
Provision of capacities to agricultural enterprises is carried out within the framework of an agreement signed between Smolenskenergo and the Administration of the Smolensk region on the implementation of measures to ensure reliable power supply and create conditions for connection of food industry enterprises and agricultural producers to grids of IDGC of Centre in the Smolensk region.
