Staff of three more branches of IDGC of Centre brought into increased readiness in connection with bad weather

In connection with the forecasted deterioration of weather conditions in the Kostroma, Tver and Yaroslavl regions, a high availability mode has been introduced in the Kostroma, Tver and Yaroslavl branches of IDGC of Centre. Meetings of the operational headquarters were held, at which a number of organizational decisions were adopted.

The Grid Control Centres of Kostromaenergo, Tverenergo and Yarenergo conduct continuous monitoring of the situation. An information exchange was organized with the regional departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and regional and local executive authorities.

A special control over the operation of power facilities has been established. Operating and repair personnel have been mobilized, all crews are equipped with necessary tools, provided with off-road specialized vehicles and prepared for round-the-clock operation in any conditions. Backup sources of electricity supply have been checked.
