A total of 11.7 thousand hectares of ROWs of overhead lines were cleared (103% of the planned figures on a cumulative total). 2.1 billion rubles were spent to implement the repair program.

Last year, the company carried out major repairs of a number of large and significant facilities in its regions of operations. Among them there are the 110/35/10 kV substations "Krasnaya Yaruga" in the Belgorod region, "Mednovsky water intake" in the Tver region, "Oboyan" in the Kursk region and "Shestikhino" in the Yaroslavl region; the 110/6kV substation "Trubnaya-2" in the Lipetsk region and "Vysokoye" in the Bryansk region. Componentwise repair of the main power equipment was carried out at the 110/35/10 kV substation "Kommash" in the Orel region.

The substation "Krasnaya Yaruga" provides electricity for about 15,000 consumers in the Belgorod region. The feeding centre "Kommash" supplies the capacity to JSC "Mtsensk Factory of Municipal Engineering" - a large manufacturer of road and utility vehicles. The Tver substation "Mednovsky water intake" supplies electricity to the same name water intake, which supplies water to the city of Tver.

The Kursk substation "Oboyan" provides electricity to Oboyansky district with a population of 35,000 people, including ZAO "Isoplit", one of the main producers of wood boards in Central Russia and a large seed-growing enterprise of ZAO "Artel". One of the largest consumers of the substation "Shestikhino" is 110 kV substations of LLC "Transneft-Baltic", which provides operation of the main oil pipelines of the Baltic Pipeline System. Repair of the substation "Trubnaya-2" was carried out with the purpose of providing power supply to the new "Zvezdny" micro-district under construction in the city of Lipetsk. The Bryansk substation "Vysokoye" feeds a section of the oil pipeline "Druzhba".

Also, in a number of branches of IDGC of Centre in 2017 repair of power transmission lines, which are significant for regional power systems, was carried out. Kurskenergo repaired the 110 kV "Sadovaya-Lesnaya" overhead line (Conductor) providing power supply to the central part of Kursk. Specialists of Lipetskenergo to improve the reliability of power supply in Yelets and University micro-districts in the city of Lipetsk carried out repairs of the 110 kV Conductor "Centrolit-left".

The Smolensk branch of IDGC of Centre repaired 110 kV overhead line # 103 and # 104 "Smolenskaya TPP-2 - Liteynaya", which feed OJSC "Yartsevsky Foundry", the leading enterprise in the region for production of cast iron. And in the branch "Yarenergo" - the 110 kV overhead line "Shestikhinskaya-1", which supplies power to the most significant transit facilities of the oil and gas industry of Rybinsky district of the Yaroslavl region.

The implementation of the repair program of IDGC of Centre makes it possible to ensure the quality and reliability of electricity supply to consumers in 11 constituents of the Central Federal District, and to a large extent contributes to the smooth and stable operation of the company’s electric grid complex in these regions during the period of the autumn-winter maximum of loads.
